Botanica Festival – Ticket Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the event known as Botanica, Botanica Festival, Botanica Gin & Spirits Journey, and/or Botanica Spirits & Food Festival (the “Event”).

The Event is produced and promoted by Arclight Event Co (ABN 54 165 439 716) (“Producer”, “we”, “us”).

By purchasing or using a ticket, you agree to these Terms.


1. Tickets & Entry

1.1 Tickets are valid only for the specified date and session time.

1.2 Tickets must be presented upon entry (digital or printed).

1.3 All ticket sales are final. Refunds will not be provided except as required under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or if the Event is cancelled by the Producer.

1.4 Tickets may be transferred for the same session but must not be resold for commercial gain or above face value.

1.5 The Producer reserves the right to refuse entry, cancel or invalidate tickets, or remove patrons from the Event where these Terms are breached or where necessary for safety, licensing, or operational reasons.


2. 18+ Licensed Event

2.1 The Event is strictly 18+. Valid government-issued photo ID is required.

2.2 Entry may be refused where valid ID is not produced.

2.3 The Event operates under NSW liquor licensing laws and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements.

2.4 No BYO alcohol or illicit substances are permitted.

2.5 Intoxicated persons will not be admitted or may be removed without refund.

2.6 Service of alcohol is at the sole discretion of authorised staff.


3. Patron Conduct & Safety

3.1 Patrons must comply with all reasonable directions of the Producer, venue management, security, and staff.

3.2 Anti-social, unsafe, illegal, or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate removal without refund.

3.3 Security screening and bag checks may be conducted.

3.4 The Producer reserves the right to restrict items that may pose a safety risk.


4. Assumption of Risk

4.1 The Event may be held in heritage, industrial, indoor, outdoor, temporary, or multi-site environments which may include uneven surfaces, low lighting, confined spaces, temporary structures, crowd movement, weather exposure, and other inherent risks.

4.2 By attending, you acknowledge and accept these risks and assume responsibility for your own safety and personal property.


5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Producer, venue, contractors, exhibitors, sponsors and associated personnel exclude all liability for any loss, injury, damage, or expense sustained in connection with the Event, including personal injury and property loss.

5.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5.3 Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.


6. Event Changes

6.1 The Producer reserves the right to vary programming, exhibitors, entertainment, schedules, session times, event layout, or venue location within the metropolitan area where reasonably required for operational, safety, licensing, weather, or compliance reasons.

6.2 Such changes do not entitle ticket holders to a refund.


7. Cancellation & Force Majeure

7.1 The Event may be cancelled, postponed, relocated, or materially altered due to circumstances beyond the Producer’s reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, government direction, public health orders, venue restrictions, safety risks, infrastructure failure, or other force majeure events.

7.2 In the event of full cancellation, refunds will be provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law requirements.


8. Photography & Media

8.1 The Event may be photographed, filmed, or recorded.

8.2 By attending, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, or voice in promotional and marketing materials without compensation.


9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with the Event are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
